Steven Feilmeier
Steve Feilmeier served as EVP and Chief Financial Officer of Koch Industries, Inc. from 2003 to 2021, overseeing finance, risk management, IT, real estate, and more. During his tenure, he managed over $100 billion in capital deployment, led the acquisitions of Georgia-Pacific and Molex, and directed $20 billion in technology investments, including the acquisition of INFOR software. He later became CEO of Koch Investment Group from 2021 to 2024, managing a multi-billion asset base.
Steve also served on Koch's board from 2006 to 2024, during which time Koch Industries became the largest private company in America, according to Forbes. He holds a Master's in Professional Accountancy from Wichita State University and began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick before holding leadership roles at PepsiCo Restaurant Group and Koch Industries' subsidiaries.
Some of his key accomplishments include participating in the exponential growth of Koch’s EBITDA during his CFO tenure, developing global shared services in India, and completing the Fontainebleau Las Vegas real estate project.
Steve has also held board positions at several Koch entities and nonprofits such as Catholic Charities and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Now retired, he is a director of Irving Oil LTD, the largest private company in Canda, and is also a director at Pinthouse Pizza and Brewing in Austin, TX.
He has been married for 40 years, enjoys golf, tennis, and hiking.
Derek Feilmeier
Derek Feilmeier served as VP, Digital Solutions for Keebeck Wealth Management in Chicago, IL from 2018-2023. During his time there, he oversaw technology sourcing, onboarding, and maintenance for various FinTech platforms to help the firm provide the best service possible for its ulta-high-net-worth clients. Additionally, he helped with marketing efforts, symposiums, podcasts, and various client outreach initiatives. Derek also worked for Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters as a project specialist.
